Wealthly AI Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Wealthly AI helps you track personal finances, capture transactions, and analyze your own ledger. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.

Information You Provide

You may enter accounts, balances, transactions, categories, notes, receipt images, documents, and voice input. This information is used to provide budgeting, tracking, sync, and AI capture features.

Account and Sync

Wealthly AI uses Firebase Authentication for sign-in and Supabase for secure cloud sync. Synced financial rows are scoped to your account by server-side access rules.

AI Features and Your Consent

Wealthly AI uses OpenAI, LLC as the third-party AI processor for receipt scan, voice transcription, document import, weekly insights, and finance chat. Before anything is sent, the app shows a consent screen that names OpenAI and explains the data involved. Nothing is sent to OpenAI unless you choose “Agree and continue.” Declining leaves manual tracking available, and you can withdraw consent at any time in Settings.

When you consent and use an AI feature, the specific content needed for that request may be sent through Wealthly AI's server-side proxy to the OpenAI API: receipt or selected photo images; recorded voice audio and its transcript; imported document text or files; a finance-chat question; account names, IDs and balances; category and budget names; monthly totals; and up to 40 recent plus 20 deleted transactions, including their dates, amounts, notes and transaction IDs. We do not send your sign-in password, PIN, payment-card details, contacts, or precise location to OpenAI.

OpenAI processes this content only to return the requested transcription, extraction, or answer. OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless longer retention is legally required. Wealthly AI does not opt in to sharing API content for model training.

Camera, Photos, Microphone, and Speech

The app requests camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition access only when you use receipt scan, photo import, voice logging, or transcription features.

Subscriptions

Purchases and subscription status are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Wealthly AI stores server-verified entitlement status so paid features can be restored across devices.

Local Storage

Wealthly AI stores app data locally on your device for offline use. Optional security features such as Face ID protect access on the device.

Product Analytics

Wealthly AI uses Firebase Analytics and Yandex AppMetrica to understand app reliability and which product flows need improvement. These services may receive technical app, device, installation, and session information together with privacy-filtered product events such as a screen opening, a permission result, or whether a capture flow succeeded. Subscription-flow events use only a plan name or outcome and never the displayed price or currency. Wealthly AI does not send transaction amounts, balances, account or category names, notes, receipt contents, voice recordings or transcripts, uploaded file names, sign-in identifiers, or precise location in analytics events.

Our AppMetrica configuration disables advertising-identifier tracking, location tracking, and automatic revenue tracking. We use AppMetrica for product analytics, not advertising. Yandex describes AppMetrica data handling and user rights in its Privacy Policy, and Firebase data handling is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation. Analytics records may remain in aggregated or de-identified reports after account deletion where they cannot reasonably be tied back to your Wealthly AI account. You can contact us to ask questions or exercise applicable privacy rights.

Data Sharing and Protection

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate and improve the app: Firebase for authentication, diagnostics, and product analytics; Supabase for account sync and the server-side AI proxy; OpenAI for consented AI processing; Yandex AppMetrica for privacy-filtered product analytics; and Apple or Google for payments and subscriptions.

We require these service providers to process data only for the stated purposes and under privacy, confidentiality, and security obligations that provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy. OpenAI states that API content is encrypted in transit and at rest, is not used for model training by default, and is subject to independently audited security controls.

Choices and Deletion

You can revoke OpenAI processing permission in Settings; future AI requests remain blocked until you consent again. You can continue using manual finance tracking without AI consent. You can also delete your account and synced data from the app or contact us for privacy assistance.
